This page explains what YayClip collects when you use yayclip.com, why, who else handles it, and how to delete it.

What we collect

• Your account: your email address, and your name and profile picture if you sign in with Google.
• The photos you upload and the videos and images we make from them, and on templates that ask for it, the one line you write about who plays which part.
• Orders and plans: what you bought, the amount, its status, and the email address the payment provider reports for the payer. We use that address to move a purchase made without an account to your account when you sign in with it. Card and bank details stay with the payment provider and never reach us.
• Your credit balance and its history: what you spent on which template, and when.
• For security, the IP address and browser type of each sign-in session, and short-lived counters that limit how often sign-in codes can be requested.

Your photos are not training material

We use an upload only to make the result you asked for: not to train a model, not to build a sample gallery, not to test with later. Nor do the AI providers train on it. Anthropic's commercial terms rule out training its models on what customers send. fal's terms license a file to it for one purpose, providing the service, and making your result is that purpose; what they do reserve is anonymised and aggregated data about how the service is used, which may be derived from what passes through it.

Who processes it

• Cloudflare hosts the site and stores your account, photos, results and orders.
• Anthropic's Claude plans each result and checks its quality: it sees your photo, the line you wrote if any, and the images and frames made from them.
• fal.ai runs the AI models that make your result: it receives your photo.
• Google handles sign-in when you choose it, and Google Analytics counts visits. Resend delivers the sign-in codes we email you.
• PayPal processes PayPal payments. Card, Apple Pay and Google Pay go through our reseller Waffo.com Limited (Waffo Pancake), the Merchant of Record for those orders; when you pay by card we pass Waffo your account's email address to fill in its checkout, and it keeps the billing details you enter there.

None of them receives your photos or account data for any other purpose. We don't sell your data or share it with advertisers.

Cookies

The cookie that keeps you signed in lasts 30 days from your last visit, or a year for a purchase made without an account, so the credits stay with that browser. We also use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages people find useful: it sets its own cookies and tells Google which page you are on and roughly where you are. We don't use it for advertising, and the site works the same if you block it.

How long we keep it

Uploads, results and the lines written with them are deleted automatically after 30 days, or sooner when you delete them in My creations. We keep your account, balance history and order records while your account exists, and order records for as long as tax and accounting law requires.

Your choices

Delete any creation from My creations. To get a copy of your data, correct it, or delete your account and everything in it, write to support@yayclip.com from the address on your account. We do it within 30 days. Deleting your account forfeits any remaining credits, so ask for any refund first.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we update this page and the date at the top before the change takes effect.
